Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to join our hybrid team in Bengaluru. You will build responsive, high-performance user interfaces for our web applications. This role focuses on creating seamless user experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks and ensuring code quality across the product stack. You will work closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver features that drive user engagement and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Optimize frontend performance by minimizing bundle size and improving load times.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and stability.
• Refactor legacy codebases to adopt modern architectural patterns and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs reported by users and QA teams efficiently.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Expert knowledge of React.js and its core concepts like hooks and state management.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data fetching patterns.
• Understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks.
• Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools like Lighthouse or WebPageTest.
